Last week we experienced a website hack that showed objectionable material on our pages, which was addressed immediately by the iLearn Innovation Team. This week, some astute students observed a photo on the Internet that depicted one of our schools inappropriately. Concerned students and parents correctly notified administration.
With so much negativity in the news, your concerns are valid and your communication is paramount to helping ensure our schools remain the safe places they are to educate your children.
The security team, which consists of retired law enforcement officers and several military combat veterans, investigated the photo and notified the police department.
In a very short time, we ascertained that the photo was part of a blog story on a legitimate website discussing the innovative educational program we did with the FBI earlier in the year. Security and, our Innovation Team at the iLearn Schools notified the website owner and in less than two hours after your notification, the photo was removed from the Internet!!
This is an example of communication, collaboration and cooperation between YOU- the parents, our terrific students and your iLearn team.
Thank you for your continued support as we work together to keep our schools the safe and secure places they are to educate your children.
