“If you Take a Mouse Home…”
Students in first grade are completing an author study on Laura Numeroff. Each week a different student is chosen to bring the mouse home for the weekend. During their time spent together, the students must write journal entries of what he/she and the mouse do together. They are encouraged to include illustrations, actual photographs, or any other “souvenirs” from the mouse’s trip that they would like to share.
We promise to take good care of our mouse. Who knows what will happen if you take a mouse home! :)
